SERVICES GRANTS
The Open Media Foundation provides grants to local non-profits and community organizations in need of financial assistance in order to produce websites and videos. Every year, the Open Media Foundation selects at least two non-profits to receive our professional services at no cost. One grant will be allocated to a full-service production package, and another grant will offer our services for the development of a fully editable website. At the Open Media Foundation, we believe that individuals and organizations alike need access to high quality media and technology in order to effectively reach the communities they serve and share ideas.
Video Production Grants
Matching Grants: All of OMF's Video Production and Web Development services include a 50% matching grant for any nonprofit client. As a nonprofit ourselves, OMF's rates are generally far below market to begin with, but our dollar-for-dollar match helps to ensure that professional, high-quality web and video production services are within reach for any nonprofit. Matching grants for video production clients require no application process, only demonstration of current 501(C)(3) status and agreement with the stipulations of the OMF services contract, including creative commons licensing.
Pro Bono Services Grants: Each year, the Open Media Foundation selects at least one Denver Metro-based nonprofit organization to receive a pro-bono, full-service production package valued at $7,500.
Website Development Grants
Matching Grants: All of OMF's Video Production and Web Development services include a 50% matching grant for any nonprofit client. As a nonprofit ourselves, OMF's rates are generally far below market to begin with, but our dollar-for-dollar match helps to ensure that professional, high-quality web and video production services are within reach for any nonprofit. Matching grants for web development clients require no application process, only demonstration of current 501(C)(3) status or otherwise be known as a government entity or work for the public sector.
