MEMBER PRODUCTION GRANT
This Member Production Grant is designed to aid DOM member producers in the production of their series programming, or to provide additional support to nonprofits wanting to complete a particular project. This grant should serve as both an extension of our education program by developing a high-quality production for those producers needing to develop additional skill sets, and to assist those producers most in need of financial and personnel assistance.
- Grants are limited to 1 per year per organizational or individual membership.
- A total of 3 grants are awarded per year.
- Maximum award is $500 (rates determined by our member production service rates) and services may be provided by staff, volunteers and/or interns.
History:
Previosuly Johnnie Johnson, Producer of Innvervision Talks Ability, is a two-time receipent of this grant. A non-sighted person, Johnnie needs additional support to get a television program completed. Often, he is able to solicit help from his fellow DOM member producers, but occasionally he needs additional help with more advanced live studio shows, editing, dubbing, new intros and outros, and DVD authoring to make his show advance to the next level. With this grant, he has completed five studio programs, a new intro and outro, graphics and duplicated his DVDs.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must hold a current DOM membership (Field, Studio or Editing or Unlimited)
- Must demonstate need and the ability to complete project
- Must complete the web form application to be considered for this opportunity
